Well like 80% of our country is at least over weight.

What if that 5'11, 186 lb dude has a BMI of 15?
Huh?

Exactly. Instead, all the healthy people had to adjust our lives to the lowest common denominator. Insanity.

ok lets say 18 BMI
5'11" 186 lbs is a BMI of 25.9

5’11 and 186 lbs is a 25.9 BMI, or “overweight.” If this hypothetical dude lost just 7 lbs down to 179, he’d be in the “normal” category.
One last rant.
I work in an office with 15 people. At least 10 are overweight and 4 are obese. It’s ridiculous.

Lol get out of here. 6' 185 is not overweight if you lift weights and have some muscle.
How many people do you think lift weights with any regularity?
I'll answer for you, less than 10% of Americans.

Bodyfat % is a much more appropriate measure.
Theyd still be considered overweight using BF
Unless, of course, they look like this (5'10, 183)

For the masses that had to work from home....this was an opportunity to go on those elaborate diets or learn to eat healthier. Use that fancy kitchen so many houses have for a change instead of dining out all the time.
Unfortunately the gyms were all closed for a while. Some are still closed.

I laugh at this breaking news as it has been known for at least 6 months and I laugh at the OT response as at least half of you are fat fricks.

Whats elaborate about not eating fried chicken or 3 plates of red beans and rice 6 nights a week?

You don't need a gym to not be fat

Anyone who didn’t realize being overweight or obese put you at a higher risk in handling COVID-19 is a moron. I think the “hospitalizations” part is pretty important. How many normal people who tested positive for Covid didn’t require hospitalization? Go even further and find out how many overweight/obese people who had COVID-19 didn’t require hospitalization.

You underestimate how ignorant most people, especially on this site, are.

I’m shocked. I could have made this assumption and I didn’t waist all the money they did going to school to learn how to come to this conclusion

But nope, instead we're giving out free Krispy Kreme if you get the vaccine.
WTF?
All I got was a sticker to put on my hospital ID badge and told to suck it up when I felt like I got hit by a dump truck for 12 hours after the 2nd dose. Where the in the cinnamon toast f**k is my free donut?
