Solid proof that Christianity is full or ignorant sheep! I would be embarrassed if I were related to them.

I hate reading about really young people dying by suicide.

It's an epidemic in this country with young men that age. Way too many leaving us.

Ever go to a funeral where it was mentioned they went to Hell? It seems everyone at every funeral goes to Heaven.

Well, funerals are really more for the family of the deceased....Probably best to not always go the full disclosure route.

who decides who goes to hell? if it’s god, why would he give a soul to the devil? or is the devil not really part of hell?

Content creation must be a terrible job. If one is clever and good in front of the camera they quickly get a following. And then they have to try to continue that momentum. And then they have to think about how they will do it for ten, twenty or thirty years. No way.

Since this is a predominantly Catholic board, I'll give a Catholic source. There are protestant sources that say essentially the same thing. You can always find a hardass who wants to send people to hell at the drop of a hat, but they're a minority.

quote:

Question:
If someone commits suicide, can he go to heaven?
Answer:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church:

Suicide contradicts the natural inclination of the human being to preserve and perpetuate his life. It is gravely contrary to the just love of self. It likewise offends love of neighbor because it unjustly breaks the ties of solidarity with family, nation, and other human societies to which we continue to have obligations. Suicide is contrary to love for the living God (2281).

. . . Grave psychological disturbances, anguish, or grave fear of hardship, suffering, or torture can diminish the responsibility of the one committing suicide (2282).

We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives. By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives (2283).

Individuals who commit suicide are usually suffering from some kind of psychological or emotional condition that overwhelms them and impairs their ability to fully understand and freely choose their actions, and therefore they would not necessarily be culpable for their action.

Always the most worthless, miserable pieces of shite people this is said about after they kick the bucket.

Hopefully he hasn’t “influenced” any people to commit suicide.
