Luckily for him he was autistic enough to journal his entire life daily and also hold onto those journals for years

Cate Blanchett

frick her. Even if her portrayal of Katharine Hepburn was accurate in The Aviator, it damn near ruined the movie. Just audaciously unattractive.

Also, because some of those claims turned out to be false.

Women killed it when they abused it and fabricated tons of events. When everything became "#metoo" then nothing was.

It got to the point that dudes like Aziz Ansari were getting metoo’d for a bad date

It needed to end

This is what killed it IMO

Aziz tried to kiss a chick and she said no and he said ok and the date ended and somehow that was equal to assault?

i think she's gorgeous in a unique type of way. And she's one hell of an actress.

I can separate politics from things like this. Hell, I loathe the politics of basically all my favorite musicians and actors, but just choose to forget it when I'm enjoying what they're doing.

That was wild. And yes, there was backlash on the girl there and I do remember that's when people were saying things like "ok where do we draw the line here?". Before that, it felt like there was 1-2 of these accusations a day being thrown out there.

When you lie about something, it makes people less likely to believe the next person.

Crazy how that works.

Ignore this bitch. Look up her interview where she claimed she was “middle class”. She had a net worth of 95 million when she did that interview. She is insane

Because it became apparent that not only were a good portion of these actresses not victims, they actively hunted down these male executives to blow and frick for roles.

It got killed because half of the allegations were false and men were starting to avoid women more. Another reason why is that many of the accused people were part of the "elites" that worked in media and finance.

Unfortunately because of that, #Metoo is going to have a long lasting negative impact on most women.

I thought I remembered this happening during the outrage.

Asia Argento, who became one of the most visible leaders of the #MeToo movement in 2017.In August 2018, while the #MeToo movement was at its peak, the New York Times reported that she had quietly paid \(\$380,000\) to her former co-star, Jimmy Bennett, to settle a claim that she sexually assaulted him in a California hotel room in 2013
