Caravan in NO protests that the $600 from unemployment continue

One read, "Save Lives, Save the $600." "$600 NOW!" another said. "22,000,000 unemployed," one vehicle displayed. One participant told WWL First News, "This money we've been getting is a reason things are not a lot worse with the pandemic."
Another said, "We are demanding the $600 a week... we want our money we are taxpayers, we deserve it." The extra unemployment pay is scheduled to stop this week, but the protesters said there are still few jobs available.
Critics say many unemployed are not looking for work because the make more staying on the increased unemployment.

You can't blame them, if the government shut down my industry I'd be mad. If they're going to stop unemployment payments then open the country back up.

I've been out for 4 months. Been spamming my resume that whole time.
I'm not looking for a job at Wal-Mart though. If I don't get that extra UI benefit, I'm not putting money back into the economy, and I'm paying rent and groceries before I pay any student loans or personal debt back.
How long will the economy hold up when tens of millions of people start doing the same thing?
