Only one thing to be done. Put C4 under all the cars at the dealership when they are closed and then they can have an inventory blowout.

Agree. Tell dealership they have 2 days to find that exact vehicle with ewual or less miles. Otherwise, cancel the loan, get money back.

Could be for the best. His girl has probably been ridden more than the car.

Yep paperwork was completed and signed for loan. Wrote a check to put money down on it.

I mean your entire argument is senseless. Why would dealership A just give up a sale unless the car they thought they were going to sell became unavailable? It's not like they can say "sorry lady no car for you, but thanks for the deposit"

You protest statues too don't you?

Could have been a computer error. I highly doubt the salesman purposely sold her a sold car. What do they have to gain from that?

It sounds like someone messed up, not sure what the angle is to actually screw you over?

The dealership would never do that as some type of scam. They are just as pissed as you, but they can't control the other dealer. It's rare, but that stuff happens. Sit down with them, have them do another locate and pick out a similar, if not exact match. Then move on. Her patience with the dealer will pay off in the long run. (Loaner vehicles, expedited service, etc.)

Pretty sure your girlfriend isn't giving you the whole story.

She is screwing the salesman and is just looking for a plausible excuse to go back for another round.

I bet she goes on several "test drives" with him.

Serious question. How was your gf screwed over? I mean you realize these cars aren't unique right, odds are that he dealership wants that sale and they will find her another identical car within days.

I had something similar happen once. But it was just a single dealership invovled and I hadn't put any money down. I was just at the dealership looking and saw a vehicle I liked on the lot , it wasn't market sold , but when I told the salesman "that one there is exactly what I want" he said "sorry that one is sold, just hasn't been pulled in for detailing yet, but I'll find you one just like it if you want" and you know what I did? Well let's start with what I didn't do.

I didn't run to a message board asking for lawyer advice

I didn't blow the dealership up

I didn't cry and scream about being screwed

I said "yes, that would be great" and by the end of the week I had my vehicle.

Tell your gf to grow up, and take some of that advice for yourself as well.

Generally when i purchase something i expect to recieve that item. Not for them to try to give me something similar thats "almost" as good. We have been trying to work with them but it's been more bs. Just wanted to look into options if things do not get fixed. Not throwing a fit and crying about it.
