I think I’ve been lucky. I don’t go to Cane’s more than maybe once every couple years, but the strips have never been 2”. They still manage to pack 1100+ calories into a box combo, so I’m not sure I’d want it to be more food.

They're not strips bruh, they are tenderloins. That's why they're expensive.
ETA: crinkle cut fries are the second worst fry (only ahead of steak fries), and keeping that generic slaw this long is mind boggling.

People here don’t seem to realize this. Canes uses the tenderloin on the back of the chicken. It takes one bird to supply 2 chicken fingers.

There's this Cane's Pandora commercial that convinced me to walk down there a while back. I regretted it almost instantly. I don't think Cane's is "disgusting", but I don't get the obsession.
Chick Fil A is much better, but I really don't get the obsession with chicken fingers/nuggets. I was 100% a hamburger kid. Still am.
In contrast, stopped at some hole-in-the-wall gas station in Boyce, LA a few weeks back and they had spicy chicken tenders freshly made at 8AM. The sign said "good ole fashioned cajun recipe". Those babies were fantastic. Comparing something like that with Cane's makes me entirely understand why people hate Cane's.
