To make it subjective and not purely biometrical. (read: scientific)

And guess what the point person looks like?

Ximena Ramos Salas PhD

Her assertion leads with this garbage- “The dominant cultural narrative regarding obesity fuels assumptions about personal irresponsibility and lack of willpower and casts blame and shame upon people living with obesity...”

Right where the blame belongs in 99.99% of the cases.

I could have saved them a bunch of money & pages-

Eat Less/Eat Better & Do More

When did we start fat shaming people again? Or blaming them?

We haven’t fat shamed people since the 90s. We need to though.

I’m of the opinion we should encourage fatties to get fatter. The overall cost of subsidizing their healthcare will be offset by how quickly they die.

So does the OT. All these obese dudes think they are fit because they weigh the same as a football player and they do some bench press and dead lifts a couple of days per week.

In the midst of this COVID-19 experience where we see the overwhelming majority of hospitalizations and deaths in people under 80 have medical issues associated with being fat, the author wants to print this shite? She’s literally putting people at risk. Not virtually, not theoretically, but literally encouraging people to not take personal responsibility and care for themselves.

We have gotten too good at prolonging life in spite of it’s quality. It will just cost everyone more.

Okay, I will agree that you shouldn’t treat people like shite because they’re fat. But can we agree that being fat is not healthy or attractive? Unless she got dat phat donk. That’s attractive.

It’s amazing how as a world we shut down because COVID-19 is dangerous and we will ignore the millions of deaths a year caused by obesity and obesity related illnesses

Uhh, yeah. I don't think other people have been force feeding people to make them obese. Fat people are to blame for being fat.

Imagine this... 75% of the people of the world are complete idiots who have zero common sense or ability to think for themselves. To them, COVID-19 is completely random and killing off young healthy fit kids in droves. They saw articles and news reports and they always say there were no issues with their health when they just up and died of COVID.

It's sad that as a country we can't have a media we can't trust. It's sad that the 'health officials' haven't used this opportunity to tell the people the truth about who is at risk the most. And more importantly scare the shitte out of them to start dieting and get to moving. Maybe avoid the battery operated shopping cart. But instead we got fed lies.

Hell, I'm not scared of COVID, but I recognized I needed to start turning my general semi fat arse around and start dieting and moving more. It's painful at first, but not impossible in the least.
