Is this an actionable item?

I'm actioning this currently.

I'm noting the actions.

What actionables are coming from this?

I've been working my way up to saying "type shite" in these scenarios.

I'm not there yet. I promise I'm close.

I think we’re going to table this and circle back to it.

Do we have an MOC based upon these action items and a storyboard to document the timeline?

Did you even address synergy or scalability?

If anyone brings up action items in my team I tell them they are in charge of the action from end to end.

I've only had to do it 3-4 times and it works great.

Your reaction to action is noted.

I offended someone a couple weeks ago when she showed me a training and I chuckled at how “corporate” it sounded. There is definitely a point where you can frick up teaching something to someone because you’ve gotten away from actual words and meanings and replaced them with overly corporate terms that are meaningless platitudes.

Speaking to what another poster said about making people do the shite they suggest, I told my boss how to break people from using the MOC to get out of doing work.

As soon as they say "this requires an MoC", respond with "Yup, anybody can do an MoC, so get to writing one"

Your actions really aren't demonstrable without the appropriate performance metrics quantifying your qualifying statements.

I dropped “Kerfluffle” in a C Suite meeting and the CEO’s Chief of Staff (his fricking secretary - who doesn’t like me) interrupted the conversation to state that she didn’t appreciate me making light of the situation with “made up words.”

I just stopped and stared at her while five or six people began Googling it on their laptops. Someone read the definition out loud and it fit the discussion perfectly.

Somehow, and this still baffles me, I got counseled on making the Chief of Staff look bad. fricking corporate losers.

You have some interesting ideas on this. Can you go ahead and form up a quick one-pager on it for me and I'll schedule a meeting where we can workshop it.

Please cascade these action items to this updated distro list with me on copy. Let me know if there is any feedback.
