This will be mostly over by end of April. Will take the economy longer to recover though.

unless they just start giving groceries and everything else out free then frick no it cant. Even then businesses would be screwed. Either consumers or businesses will be fricked, likely both. There's no way we can withstand this that long.

Nope.

Our standard of living is about to fall to that of a middle income country, at least for the time being

This country survived an invasion by the British, the Civil War, and the Great Depression. Think it'll survive an economic downturn like this one.

Not without massive gove't intervention and assistance, and once again that gov't assistance will largely go to corporations that may or may not use it to help their employees.

Not unless the Government starts printing a bunch of money to give away.

If it keeps going on this way, that long,we will see times none of us have seen before.

Global warming will save us.

By the end of April, we will be business as usual.

No

shite just got real for a lot of people with JBE announcing all the places that are ordered closed until April 13 and now they're out of business/work for at least a month.

No.

That said, I pray that it's over sooner rather than later.

No effing way. The country would be irreparably damaged if this goes in for even 8 weeks.
