You could also argue that the Boxer Rebellion in China led to the later Communist Revolution.

It seemed like at one time there were revolutions all of the time in Africa and South America. You would have a dictator of the month.

China to Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia

Lots of people had to die some gnarly deaths under the Khmer Rouge.

The French Revolution was basically two revolutions. Monarch to Republic. Republic to Empire/dictatorship.

I am sure the Iranian revolution that ended in the late 70s, early 80s lead to some type of uproar at some point, that could be considered a revolution.

Western backed coup deposes democratically elected Iranian government and imposes the Shah. Leads to Islamic Revolution overthrowing the Shah and empowering the Ayatollah.

Protests lead to deposing of Egyptian President Mubarak in favor of democratic elections. People elect Muslim Brotherhood Muhammad Morsi. They begin oppressing Christians and moderate Muslims. This leads to a Military coup.

Simon Bolivar's revolution triggers revolts all over central and South America against the Spanish colonial governments.

Texas Revolution leads to Mexican revolution against Santa Anna (one of many he was involved in).

Revolutions are rarely isolated events.

The revolution before Castro led to the revolution Castro was in.

Also, the entire history of China, if you consider the changing 'dynasties' like revolutions.

Every year we make a revolution round the sun. This leads to a subsequent revolution around the sun. This cycle has been going on for 4 billion years.

Indirectly...the revolutions of 1848 as well as (separately) the revolutions of 1989.

The Scientific Revolution led to the American Revolution, which led to the French Revolution, which led to the revolutions in Latin America and the revolutions of 1830 and 1848, which eventually led to the Bolshevik Revolution. The Industrial Revolution led to the Bolshevik Revolution too. Yep

The Russian Revolution of early 1917 that installed Kerensky led to the Bolshevik Revolution of later that year

The Beatles recorded "Revolution 1" which later was rerecorded at a faster pace, resulting in the hit song "Revolution", and later had the experimental song "Revolution 9" spawned creatively from it.

So, a revolution actually led to two others.

What do I win?

I think those are more classified as "coup" vs revolution, with the difference being that there isn't political ideology being overturned.

The Earth's revolution around the Sun in 2015 caused it to revolve around the Sun in 2016?
