I’ve lived in Austin for several years and feel the same way about ACL. Never understood the worldly allure. I’m not a big music guy or big crowds guy so I don’t go. To each their own tho. It does a lot for the city.

Coachella isn't your standard music festival.
Its full of smoking hot chicks with other peoples' money dressed like whores so they can instagram themselves at a Tupac hologram show. Celebrities and models all get VIP villas as well.
Its not some hippy fest with Phish and String Cheese headlining.

There’s a lot of festivals out there with meth-y strung out weirdos (I enjoy those too, TBH) but Coachella doesn’t strike me as that.
Basic white girls? Sure. But if you can’t see the appeal of that, I can’t help you.
