Whats hilarious is you stole this joke word for word from Instagram/Twitter so you are basically one of them.

I was messing around with this chick that was big into that festival shite and we went to one outside of Houston and it blew my mind. I was offered every drug under the sun. You also better have a shite ton of money when you’re buying alcohol at $10 a pop for the both of you amongst other things.

But yea, all the women are just trying to one up each other’s outfits and I couldn’t complain.

I've done a few in my day. Did Lollapalooza for my bachelor party a few yers back. Bonnaroo, Hangout etc..shite was fun. I'm 31 now, though. I can't hang with the kids. And I never was one of those IT'S FESTIVAL SEASON BRO types.

Just wait for the yearly "Calfornia sucks for ____ reason" thread. It usually goes on for 15+ pgs

My group for Voodoo this year was all early 30s (except me, 28) and we got more sleep at Voodoo than in our normal lives. All 3 days, we slept until 10-11am, had a leisurely brunch, went back for another nap, got ready, and hit the festival around 4-5pm.

My friends who go to Burning Man have told me they get tons of sleep too. Party hard, go to your bed and sleep, party hard again, etc. As your drunk/high wears off, you go straight to bed regardless whether its day or night. Then wake up refreshed to do it again at whatever time that may be.

Coachella is hard because most of the accommodations are 30 minutes away in PS so you can't just come and go.

even if you think you're OT balling, the girls at Coachella will not give you the time of day. You're not rich enough, not liberal enough, not hot enough. These are the girls who put on their profiles "No Trump Supporters" and mean it.

Yea, I mean I could definitely still hang at most festivals. It's the camping ones that really zap you. Bonnaroo in particular is tough. It's hot as shite and you camp for 4 days. By Sunday you are dead.

And the camping ones usually have really late shows, too. Like some EDM show that starts at 2 am. Good luck sleeping with that blaring all night.

I want to go to ACL soon, though. Never been and always think they have a good diverse lineup.

It isn't unusual to come back from Burning Man weighing 5lbs less than you did beforehand and overall losing even a few additional due to the few days it takes to get back used to normal eating

A very expensive diet plan of sorts.

no music at all? or do acts show up and play informally during the week? I've seen the documentary on BM, and always figured they'd have some sort of musical acts.

defintely lots of music, just not really a music festival. It's more of a giant art show in the desert. Usually any music or art you see is from the attendees.

I can assure you the talent in Destin is not even in the same stratosphere as virtually any music festival on the globe

The High Sierra fest was what everyone went to when I was living out west, it may or may not exist anymore.

I completely agree with you. I don't know if I was ever an age where camping appealed to me, but it appeals to me even less nowadays. Like you said, hot as hell.. and you have to remember to bring so much shite you don't have to bring to a hotel/AirBnb. It seems to take a lot out of you.

I'd love to hit ACL too. And Austin isn't too hard to plan for.

Had tickets to a show at Dragon's Den during Mardi Gras that I was dying to catch, but it STARTED at 3AM. I set my alarm at home to 1AM and was going to drive to NOLA, but yeah that didn't happen when my alarm went off.

Coachella's lineups were outstanding every year until a few years ago when it became the place to be seen. This year's was still worht going if you lived near there, but nothing like the lineups from 5-10 years ago.
