Nothing boggles my mind more than when I read ignorant residents of the shithole South bag on California. They are they are the last people that need to be talking down about anywhere else in the country.

It's doubly odd that a bunch of Louisiana peeps despise California, which on the whole doesn't really affect Louisiana, but worship Texas, the state that for decades has been poaching their best and brightest people and businesses and doing more than any other external factor to keep the state a backwards shithole.

..and #1 is that notorious shithole Hawaii. If I didn't know better it would seem to me that the homeless rate has a lot to do with temperate weather as opposed to policy

It's not good but I saw a more recent article that was talking about the idea of California dividing to 6 states and it had their public education 50th.

Fine by me.

Even better, why don’t we just count electoral votes county by county?

I didn't say it was. You said HI is a "bad state" outside of tourist areas. The natives are a mess but they are a small part of the population and "bad state" is incredibly vague.

why should alpine county and it's population of barely over 1000 hold as much weight as Los Angeles county with its population of over 10 million?
