I didn't. I could move, but some OT poster would just call me a Cali transplant whose politics failed in his state so he moved to ruin another. Real catch 22 I have going on

I think people would burn down Baton Rouge if that happened.

West Virginia ranks higher than California and Louisiana in k-12 educational rankings.

For a Louisiana/South-centered discussion forum, this OT Board sure does spend a lot of time worrying about California. As if Louisiana doesn't have any problems lol InB4, COVID is a hoax

weird that you’d sign up for and post on such ‘ Louisiana/South-centered discussion forum’ …

It will be mandated for 5-11 within the next year I'd guess. And that is when the shite is going to hit the fan.
For public schools, I don't know what's going to happen. A lot of these folks can't home school their kids so it's probably going to get interesting.
But for private schools in Louisiana.. I would assume that the Catholic diocese will immediately press the narrative of mandatory vaccinations. If/when that happens, I wouldn't be surprised to see scores of kids withdrawn from these schools en masse in favor of some kind of Montessori, group home school type schools.
That's when it's going to be one of these 'who blinks first' type of situations. If push comes to shove, it will likely be devastating financially for these schools I'd guess.

My thoughts towards Californians after the recall:

Expect Fascist Edwards to try and follow suit.

Then they just tried to recall Newsome, the recall failed, and now he’s going scorched earth.

John Bel loves this idea.
I'm sure he loves the idea. It will never be a thing here. He knows better. Unless he wants to be physically removed from office.

Nope. Newsome was very clear about what he was going to do. They voted for this.

Friend of ours's son went into the NOPD, like 22-23 years old. this past weekend started with bad chest pains. Was brought to the ER in St Tammany; first question out of the medical staff was if he took the vaccine...
Healthcare professionals know there is an issue with it.

The more I hear about things like this being forced on public schools the happier I am that my kids go to private school. It's expensive but I'd rather pay it and not have my kids subjected to this dictatorial bullshite.

Oh read further. This is being forced on private schools as well.
EDIT: not in the OP’s article, but this is very relevant: CALIFORNIA TO REQUIRE ELIGIBLE STUDENTS IN PUBLIC, PRIVATE SCHOOLS BE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19

You mean cardiac events not at all, no way, never related to Covid-19 vaccine. Even though it happens within days of a covid-19 vaccine injection and it was a perfectly fine kid. Totally anecdotal and not peer reviewed. Science.

CA is a bellwether for the whole country. Demographically, politically, wealth disparity, energy sector issues, cost of living, etc. It makes perfect sense for people to be interested in it.
