so the navy is to now get all offended and take to social media postings?

Probably don’t want them performing rescue operations until the weather clears. When the rescuers need rescue than that becomes a serious issue

Oh I forgot this is a thread designed to make fun of people that help make rescues because for some reason this board hates them

On another site was reading an airboat was getting in the way of the coast guard doing a rescue and thats what caused the halt.

Honestly, if the Cajun Navy didn't have to make such a show of things they could probably do these rescues without any interference.

Why allow private individuals to excel at something the government sucks at?

I always thought these rescues were something first responders were actually pretty good at.

Yes they have jobs but are blue collar and many actually work for themselves or with local companies who support what they do. Jon Bridgers who heads it up Has his own lawn service which I’m sure he has guys who are covering his work while he goes off. I gave him all my yards 20 plus years ago when I finished school. I support them and F all the haters.

Why does the government ask private citizens to donate money after natural disasters?
