Agree... If it weren't for the tranny I'd consider one for a DD.

Thank you it was stupid fast car. I wanted to have an over the top street/half mile car for once and I did it. I just got tired of the repairs and maintenance. When you put 3x the power through something than it was designed for, shite will break. and that it did a few times in spectacular fashion. If you see a black Turbo running around the NS making noise and shooting flames, holler.

Big Block, Hooker exhaust on the bottom pic? How much louder than the stock sidepipes on the top?

My parents had that exact car in silver around 1972-3 when I was born. They got tired of carrying mr everywhere on their lap,and traded it for an Econoline van with no A/C lol

If you see a black Jag running as close as is humanly possible to the white lane dividers on the access road to the West Approach, flash your lights.

Hard to compare to be honest.

With the Hookers, I was running a a 658hp (dynoed) Big Bock with open spiral baffles...the exhaust pulse is so different than the LS.

Here's a video of it idling Big Block 68

The factory side exhaust is much quieter unless you are above 2k. Much of that is the exhaust and the LS2/6Speed it has now.

Im in my late 30's so I don't "have" to have an obnoxiously loud car. It's actually nice to here the radio.

Oh, very much different. That BB has a pop all its own. I'm sure that LS idles a bit smoother too.

If they had the 427/435 L71. It didn't come with AC either. It was GM's version of the "Easy Bake Oven" for adults.

Audi gone now. Put 100k on it.

There is a Nardo Gray RS7 in Mandeville...the wife of the owner of LLOG uses it as her daily.

The 991 CS is a blast...the raw power from 4000-8000 is truly amazing.

Well, my dealership was selling 2017 Silverados and Tahoes at the end of last month, but that's none of my business.

Absolutely, it was almost a chore to drive, choppy idle, would try to load up in traffic, etc.

I would jump in and drive to California in it tomorrow as it currently sits.
