So it's kind of like a ransom payment to get our freedom released.

We are setting a horrible precedent.

The only way to get our lives back to normal is to appease the government by taking a vaccine that they're pushing? Seems strange, no?

Ok, fair enough if the vaccine was available to you today

But in March, when it is available to you, you will have more data on the vaccine and everything it entails then you will on covid-19 the virus

That's fair... I guess I'll wait to see what the data says in March.

I for one, will be available to take the vaccine soon. But will not until I can see the results from the first 10 million recipients. If all still good, which I imagine it will be, jab the shite out of me because I no longer have a logical reason not to take it

I don't understand your point.

The last super major vaccine that got this level of scrutiny was mumps in 1967, and that took 4 years. As you may know, some things have changed in 40+ years.

Also, we have had some version of this vaccine in production for 20 years. This is just a version of SARS that we have had production and research on for 20 years. It didn't take much to adapt it. I don't know how many times we need to keep saying this.

I agree, but what are we going to do about it?

Absolutely nothing. So get the damn vaccine when it becomes apparent that it is safe and effective.

its either this or overthrow our government

and since all y'all do is bitch on the internet, the vaccine seems like the more realistic option here

So, when the time comes around for the general public to take the vaccine, there will be more data on the vaccine and its dangers than Covid-19 the virus

Maybe should wait till this is already known before sticking a bunch of people in the arm.

So what is a good reason?

I don't feel like going to get a shot. Same reason I (generally) don't take the flu shot

Please explain anything that is wrong with the questions I am asking, or the logic I am following

Smarter? Maybe, maybe not. More logical as it relates to this, absolutely

Then we'd never have a vaccine. As you have to go through large human trials (as these vaccines did) for approval.
