That trap is just a decoration, it’s probably not set, and in an area where bears routinely climb…

Checked out their food on Yelp. Looks good, not great.

I’d probably do a burger based on pics.

I don't really understand where the danger is. Why is she scared?

Because it gets her attention on the interwebs.

Think anthem and flyovers are pretty universal for sporting events worldwide.

Not really. It'll happen if it's an event that includes teams from different countries and both national anthems will be played prior to the match, but if it's not an international match most other countries don't include their national anthem and presentation of the colors prior to sporting events.

Yea no screw that. I'm not about to stop eating my food just because a restaurant randomly decides they want to play the national anthem.

This is in California, surprisingly. There’s some red blooded baws over that way.

Cali has more registered republicans than any state in the country. As you get more inland away from the coastal cities there's a lot of baws out that way. The LA area and Bay area run the state though.

Research when, why, and who wrote the Pledge.

The fact that we have kids(private citizens) swearing allegiance to a flag before school everyday is odd.

A friend of a friend brought us to Scotlandville Square to pick up some weed back in 96.

What is odd about it? Go ahead and explain.

First, it is an allegiance to a flag of a federal government. Completely against what the founding fathers envisioned.

Second, the recent version was written by a SOCIALIST.

If you want to join the military or be an elected official, take an oath to defend what you are signing up to do but private citizens should not be required to do it, imo.

ETA: DCTiger1, on the surface, I understand where you are coming from. I had the same thoughts as you until a mentor of mine in the military pointed it out.

Simply put, the government should pledge allegiance to the people everyday, not the other way around.

The most dangerous thing in the room is the processed carbs in the pancakes - and she’s shoveling them into her pie hole.

Flag worship is just weird. I respect it and those who died to protect it. My ancestors fought in every single war America has been involved in but I'm not standing in a restaurant if they pop it over the loudspeaker for a gimmick. It's really lost its luster the past few years. Especially seeing it flown from the back of a truck who "rolls coal" all over it.
A neighbor had a get together at for the 4th last year and a Corvette had a flag on a pole in the rear of the Vette....it was dragging on the ground. Moron
