The worst is that everything is slim cut or slim fit. I'm not slim! I'm not fat, either - no gut - just a big guy. My thighs can't fit into slim cut pants or shorts and my chest and shoulders can't fit slim cut shirts. I know... "so don't buy slim cut". I don't! The problem is, that's all they sell anymore.

Under Armour is the worst about this trend. Same shirts I've had for years fit great, ordered some new shirts of similar make and same size, and they were almost two sizes too small.

Cutter & Buck online has some extended sizes that work out well for me.

Try being a chick nearly that tall. I order everything online. Or live with mini skirts. It's annoying.

My wife yells at me because I always wear the same shirts. This is my argument to her. Everywhere you shop, it's as if everyone is a 100 pound emo that wants all their clothes to look like under armor. I have broad shoulders and a wide chest. There are very few shirts I can find that don't either feel like a compression shirt in the chest and fit normal at the waist or fit normal around the chest and look 2 sizes to big in the stomach area. DXL is the only place I can get work clothes.

Of all the info you provided, the bathrobe portion was the most damning

Has anyone noticed that the fit of everything has changed drastically over the past two years? I've got a LSU coaches polo from 2012 in XL that fits perfect. I tried on a new LSU coaches polo and it looked like I was wearing a compression shirt. Found an Adidas polo from last year on a clearance rack and compared it to the new ones, a L is the same size as the old XL.

I think you're just getting fat

Not many shoe styles are manufactured above a size 12 or 13. It's not like the store isn't carrying them, they don't exist (at least in 14 or 15).

They exist online just not in stores which seem to cut off at 12-13. I can get 15 in just about any style boot, tennis shoe or dress shoe online.

I have noticed an increase in vanity sizing. I used to where a 38 and now I wear a lot of 36s. I haven't lost weight. I think stores like to make people feel good.

6'2 ~250 here. I tend to have no problem finding clothes. XL fits fine as long as it's not slim fit. I'd suggest a tailor for nicer clothes or at least having someone measure you before you buy them.

I have had success with dress shoes in size 15 at mens warehouse. In store and online.

Anyone on here living with this struggle?

Not quite the same, but as a very tall, very thin man it's fricking impossible to get any off-the-shelf clothes that have enough length without turning into a circus tent.
