I'm 6'4" and rocking a dad bod but even when I get down to my fighting weight I'm 235-245 lbs. It's tough to find those items such as a bathrobe. The big melon prevents me from wearing the new stretch caps that replaced fitted ones. Even trying to buy a t-shirt or golf shirt gets frustrating then we I get it home I find that it was made for a guy going 5'9" and 300lbs, some of them hang like a sack with holes.

Got me thinking, how the heck do guys who are the size of an NBA power forward or an NFL tackle ever find the cool casual clothes. It must really suck. Anyone on here living with this struggle?

At the bathrobe being your first concern.

No one who posts on the O-T struggles with anything*. Since you do, please quit posting.

*Except Oweo, Rebeloke, Mizzoukills. Our very own Mt. Pussmore.

<-------6'-5" 240lb 5.2 sec 40 8.5" adonis .

Buy online from places that sell XL-Tall or XX-Tall. Buy 36" length jeans/pants from places that offer them. There are several. Before the Internet it was a bitch finding clothes. Now it's easy. Never shopped for a bath robe though. Doubt I ever will.

That is the answer. I remember watching a show where Shaq was talking about having his mattress/box spring and bedframe custom built. What do you think that cost?

Those guys pay to have clothes made or tailored.

I'm somewhere around 6'2-6'3 and still fat so I struggle with finding clothes that fit well. Mostly with the length of shirts.. XL fits me in the chest and waist, but the shirts are short as frick. My work shirts and button ups don't stay tucked unless I find XL-tall sizes and they typically run way too large in the chest and waist.

Old Navy's tall sizes seem to be the normal chest and waist sizes with just a taller shirt, so I've been getting some Old Navy workout gear so when I'm doing overhead presses and bench presses my shirt doesn't rise and expose my stomach.

I love the OT!! One mention of fighting and everyone gets keyed up and ready to swing. The only thing I fight these days is to stay awake through the 10pm news.

The bathrobe came up because I finished my shower this morning and had to go get a towel from the laundry room. That damn robe my wife got me is horrible.

Go to Big and Tall sections of stores. Try on clothes at the store before you buy them. Buy online.

I'm 6'2", 220lbs so I don't have your problem. My dad is around your size though. I watched him go through what your dealing with.

Has anyone noticed that the fit of everything has changed drastically over the past two years? I've got a LSU coaches polo from 2012 in XL that fits perfect. I tried on a new LSU coaches polo and it looked like I was wearing a compression shirt. Found an Adidas polo from last year on a clearance rack and compared it to the new ones, a L is the same size as the old XL.

Dillard's usually has a well stocked big and tall section of you're not a millenial looking for skinny jeans. Cabelas used to carry a fair amount of decent casual clothing in larger sizes but not as much anymore, at least in my size.

Its frustrating, but don't waste your time anywhere but big and tall sections or online. Everywhere else, XL and beyond just means wider.

I have to wear 38 length jeans. Levi, Wrangler, and Cinch all work great for me. if you can't find the length in store, find the style and waist that you like, and get it online.

Not many shoe styles are manufactured above a size 12 or 13. It's not like the store isn't carrying them, they don't exist (at least in 14 or 15).
