Bugs fly around light fixtures at night because the light confuses them

A moth goes into a podiatrist's office.The podiatrist says, "What's the problem?"The moth says, "Where do I begin? Watched a youtube video where they were restocking a fish pond. They positioned a light low over the pond at night. Bugs attracted would fall into the water plenty to eat for the fish.
