I still drink Bud Light. Its actually Miller Lite, was born at the brewery as a Miller Lite, bought at the store as a Miller Lite, Still has Miller Lite fluids inside of can, but when i drink it, I decide that its a Bud Light.

Sounds like a gay, trans response

Whether it hurts them long term or not, talk about not understanding your core customer base. Like a gun manufacturer taking an anti hunting stance or something

So you are admitting you know jack shite about business, finance, earnings, or the alcohol/bar/brewing industry in general. Let me explain it to you.

Your whole post may be exactly correct BUT it does not change the fact the OP was using a spurious argument about the market cap. His facts were completely wrong. The idea that what happens this week indicates what will happen long term is weak to begin with as you pointed out. The OP ultimately used false facts to support the argument that even if true should not be used to support some long-term impact as you correctly pointed out. The stock price and thus market cap are only indicative of what the market thinks will happen, this will have to be revisited in 6m or a year to make any sort of conclusion as to the real impact vs what the market thinks will be the impact.

Is there really a way - a true way - to quantify this?

On Tuesday April 4, AB stock was at $66.98.

On April 10, it was $64

Today it is 65.66

There are 100 more light beers to choose from.

And they own a good chunk of them. Best case this entire fiasco leads to a bump in craft beer sales. But I doubt that'll happen because people will pay $25-30 a case for "cheap" beer instead of $8-9 a 6 pack for craft.

You don’t spend much time here do you?

Gaucho has a shtick… it’s a joke… almost an inside joke. Soccer (ha-ha). This board has mad fun of soccer players & fans as being phags for 20 years.

Get it?

Make sure to do sales when the data is available.

Why would you think the stock market, which is driven by Blackrock and Vanguard, who are also driving the tranny shite, would turn on a dime?

His example of a bloodbath is losing dart players in one Texas bar. Great journalism.
Someone didn't read the article

quote:

But even Fitter’s bar witnessed a catastrophic decrease in sales of the hometown suds among loyal and local consumers this week. Sales of Anheuser-Busch bottled products dropped 30% over the past week, while draught beer plummeted 50%, the owner said.

Similar stories are found around the country.

Bud Light normally outsells rival products Miller Lite and Coors Light 25 to 1 at Braintree Brewhouse in Massachusetts, a sprawling sports bar just outside Boston.

Not this week.

Eighty percent of Bud Light drinkers ordered something else this week, Brewhouse owner Alex Kesaris said — while the 20% who did order Bud Light "weren’t on social media and hadn’t heard yet" about its new transgender pitch person.

"They didn’t order it again," he said, after other patrons told them about the Bud Light marketing misfire.

One pub in Hell’s Kitchen, a New York City neighborhood known for its large and vocal gay community, reported that Bud Light draft sales dropped 58% this week, while Bud Light bottle sales were down 70%.

Still anecdotal tales for now, but the number of those tales is growing

Here’s another one. I know a guy who works at A-B in St Louis. AKA the mothership. They get an allotment of product to take home with them monthly, I think is the schedule. This week they had an unscheduled employee distribution of Bud Light and were given twice the normal amount. It wasn’t formally acknowledged that this was related to dropping sales of BL but it was sort of an “open secret”. So it is definitely being felt at US HQ

More telling than a 3-keg dart tournament in Texas.

I agree, until then we can use anecdotal evidence to get a gauge of what will happen. Gillette didn't fair too well when they waded into woke waters.

Sponsoring a 100 person dart league to sell 3 kegs is sad

The problem is his marks are just too easy. He catches dozens and dozens of fish each day with the same bait in the same fishing holes. If so many people weren't so oblivious he would have to evolve but like the alligator, he just keeps on doing his thing.

I know right! All of these soft people choosing not to buy a beer that decided to use a tranny who dresses up like little girls and claims he's a "girl" and also encourages other little girls to go through bodily mutilation. Just shut up and drink what the large corporations tell you to drink! Independent thought is for losers!

I'm all for someone boycotting. I'm way more into craft beers and supporting local brewery's anyway, but the next party I bring beer to, it won't be bud light.

But,

quote:

He cited a nightmare scenario for Bud Light sales reps in Texas, where the brand has for years has sponsored a large weekly dart league with 100-plus players each Thursday night.

The bar typically sells though three kegs of Bud Light at the event — a total of 495 12-ounce pours

This is not a nightmare scenario for Bud Light

This. Amazon stock soared for years before they ever had a profitable quarter.
