I don't believe it, I saw literally dozens of videos posted by chuds wherein they bravely burned the bottom tier Nikes they got at TJ Maxx.

I think the bud light advert is ridiculous and I’ll never drink it but that article is pure fox style propaganda.

Yes, there is. Less than a month ago Anheuser-Busch InBev had a market capitalization of $132 billion. Today, it has dropped to $114 billion, a loss of $18 billion in market share.

Does that quantify it for you?
As of this moment market cap is $134B. The lowest it's been in the last month was about $114B, but that was before this whole fiasco. They've gained $18B in value since.

Is there really a way - a true way - to quantify this? These anecdotal stories aren't selling me that it's working......yet. Although there are a lot of them out now.

Here’s another one. I know a guy who works at A-B in St Louis. AKA the mothership. They get an allotment of product to take home with them monthly, I think is the schedule. This week they had an unscheduled employee distribution of Bud Light and were given twice the normal amount. It wasn’t formally acknowledged that this was related to dropping sales of BL but it was sort of an “open secret”. So it is definitely being felt at US HQ.

So their stock price and market cap are both rising back to pre-boycott levels? Guess they just need to boycott harder!

The bar typically sells though three kegs of Bud Light at the event — a total of 495 12-ounce pours.

The bar sold only four 12-ounce Bud Light bottles this week,

But how many drafts did they pour? Why change the metric?

This is patently false. Did you even look at the stock prices prior to posting this?

Such is the outrage cycle. Particularly when it's coming from the political right

Outrage drives a boycott

The company remains silent and never addresses it (unless it's a left wing protest)

It falls out of topical headlines and everyone forgets about it and goes back to what they were doing before

The article is implying 0 drafts poured, hence the “only 4 12-ounce” bottles sold

Don’t tell this to Damone. He’s certain this will help the brand.

This assumes people go back to BL.

The product is not particularly good, so people finding a new beer instead is a distinct possibility.

Result - Controversy goes away but BL goes from being one of the premiere brands in the country to being a severely damaged one in regards to sales.

Other brands may pick up the slack but that brand damage is long lasting.

Interestingly enough I have a buddy pretty high up in the Ben E Kieth distributor food chain. They are the Bud distributors for a huge area of Texas and I think Oklahoma.

I’ll have to ask his opinion the next time I see him.

nike doesn't need fat old white dudes to survive. inner city youth, yes. BLM and CK made sense, even if i disagree with them.

budweiser 100% needs fat southerners.

i'm not going say go woke, go broke and i agree this will be shortlived, but bud lite needs rednecks. nike doesn't.

Let this be a lesson to any other business considering a tranny freak as their role model.

I don't really care if AB, or Nike, etc. suffers financially or not. However I just won't be buying AB products any more, just like I've parted with Nike, and Subway. Its not so easy to cut ties with some companies like CocaCola since they own so many brands, however in cases like this, its pretty easy. Bye!
