No mentions of their potato chips? Those things are awesome and one of the best deals in the pale. Look under the hot lamp near the bbq sandwiches.

I actually forgot about this cheap snack alternative. Although an excellent bite I think that would have to be reserved for a top 10 list. Don’t think it beats out any of my top 5 IMO

Some Louisiana politician probably wanted his palms greased in order to allow them to open one here..

also, those candied cashews in the little cone wrappers are fricking awesome.

the fudge variety pack is notable as well.

It was along the lines of this. It dealt with the state requiring certain contractors to be used. (Sources are very solid)

The Bucees in LA ship has sailed for the foreseeable future

The bbq is average at best. If i wanted bbq, i'd stop somewhere else. the sandwiches are ok.

So you're comparing a gas stations BBQ to a place that is dedicated to BBQ?

Did you not see the 100+ gas pumps and the cleanest bathrooms to be found at a gas station? My biggest gripe with Buc-ee's is that when I go there with my kids it is easy to drop $100+ but thats my own fault.

uh yeah. was i not supposed to? Not all dedicated BBQ joints are good either.
Hell i'd rather krispy krunchy tenders than Canes, and it's not even close.

Well they could have 20 pumps or 100, as long as there is one open pump when i stop, that's all i need. You've been to RaceTrac before right? They have clean bathrooms too. As i said, outside of the bbq and the make it your way sandwiches/wraps, RaceTrac has just about everything a Buc-ee's doesn't. Except those delicious nuts.

they also have a meat & cheese tray that is possibly the best, most convenient thing ever made (unintentionally) to throw in the ice chest on a fishing trip.
