Exactly why there isn’t one on Millervile. EBR was trying to get them to pay for redoing Millerville. Bucees wasn’t being fleeced, then the flood happened and they got out.

Years ago we were supposed to get one at the new Louisiana exit in Lafayette. Land and construction deals were already in place for the store. Buc-ees backed out due to some tax and political questions. My uncle is very good friends with the ownership and was told this at the time.

Everything you love about buccees would happen near any major city in Louisiana. That’s prob a big part of it.

There are several promising sites along I-10/I-12 for a Buc-ees:
- Between Hammond and Covington
- The aforementioned Satsuma
- Crowley-Jennings

IMO, Vinton is too close to TX. Might as well tuck one in between Orange and Beaumont.
