Buc-ee's is definitely overrated. They have a bunch of overpriced garbage, with a few good food items.

I've heard that they are opening one on the west side of Lafayette, but I haven't seen anything about it.

There will be (more) traffic.
I drove by the Madisonville TX Buc-ee's on I-45 two Sunday's ago and traffic was piled up on both entrance ramps trying to get to Buc-ee's.
I'm surprised they put this in the center of town because most of the ones I've seen are usually located in rural or small towns along the freeway in TX.
