I attempted to visit one last year, but it was too crowded so I decided to leave. It was still 25 minutes before I got back on the interstate. No gas station is worth that kind of hassle.

For premium gas station food? They blow away a Circle K hot dog but that’s like saying that a Ritz Carlton is way nicer than a La Quinta. If you compare them to similar businesses of which there aren’t many, their product isn’t that great.

I’m talking about their Gardetto style custom snack mixes. Gardetto is honestly better than what they sell, and I’ve been to gas stations that make their own custom mixes that are way better than buccees

I completely agree. I’m in very good shape and I eat more road trip snacks, stadium food, etc. than 99% of people I know. It’s not like I never eat snack food on road trips and have this opinion, I’d bet most people who disagree with me don’t go out of their way to go to places like Hruska’s in Ellinger and try buccees-adjacent food.

Im sure the owners care what you think while they are counting all of their money.
Its something different that isn't available all over so its an experience for a lot of people.
The one time I went there I had a brisket sandwich and I thought it was pretty good.
I also got an old school Coke Icee in which I got a cup with a MLB team on it like back when I was a kid.

My only complaint about the place is the fact that I can't even get into the store the lines are so long. I don't like going somewhere that is so crowded for a gas station. Other than that, I am sure it's great, again for a gas station. It's not supposed to be fine dining.

People who love buc-cess are weird as frick. I gas my car up as quick as possible and bounce.
I do not want to eat at a gas station. I do not want to buy clothing or accessories from a gas station. And the cleanliness of a gas station is not enough for me to say “I love” a place.
