Justin? I’m not surprised.
You know he was in the elevator trade, with his brother, for a bit. We all could tell he couldn’t kick that habit.

I lived on Maple and Adams in late 90s. John Goodman was always at Bruno’s. I almost backed into him when I first moved there. He was walking. Wouldn’t have ended well for my car back then.

LOL! I lived on Adams. Near the intersection of Oak. Only white boys on the street. Used to be this old club on the corner. Plum Street Snowballs around the corner.

The old Bruno's had so much history. I had grandparents who went there in the late 1930s before WWII. And then my parents went there in the early 1970s. That was back when it was a Tulane bar full of New Orleans people who went to Tulane and Newcomb. Times have changed.

I never could get into the new location. That whole Maple Street corridor hasn't been the same since Covid, which is probably related to this sale. Young people vape instead of going to bars and drinking nowadays, another issue.

The old Bruno's had a smokeshow blonde bartender for a long time. She went to Riverdale, can't remember anything beyond that in the haze of the early 2000's.

What about Cooter Brown's? My favorite from back in the day

Love that place. Go by about once a month for a pint or two when I’m in the area.

I’m glad Spratt is selling. The food at Bruno’s used to be really good and he took over and cut every corner possible to change that for the worse. Hopefully the new owner restores the menu.

Can confirm. Massive titties too. She was there when "Wish" Kevin Connolly, aka Eric Murphy from Entourage, bartended as well. That guy was hilarious with our group. Would get so pissed when we played Fat Bottom Girls on the juke box.

Kinda miss $2 Import night on Thursday.

Wasn’t she a cop, or maybe dated a cop? What was her name again? Leslie ?
