the boys maybe...girls could have been 12 for all we knew the entire wall of the back office was covered in fake IDs; there may or may not have been a robust market for the good ones

I remember frequenting the place as a senior in HS in 1989 & 90 when the drinking age was 18 (I was 17 at the time). I also remember blowing chunks in the bathroom once after drinking too much. Sorry to the bartender on here, my bad.

I started going to the original Bruno's when I was a freshmen or sophomore in high school, Tuesday for quarter beer night. Streets blocked off, it was great. Was going there until 2006 when I moved away.

They were pretty easy to make in the 80s. The LA license had the picture, the excel looking form fields and a yellow state seal.

Seal photo copied from an encyclopedia, stamp maker, $100 and you had the LA state seal. No, not me but one of the kids in high school.

He sold them to everyone. I know kids these days can get perfect copies from China.

I remember when Bruno’s was in it’s original building, Buffalo’s was next door, and L’ecole’s (before TJ Quills)) was across the street.

Yeah once I turned 21 in 2001 I started spending more time there instead of TJs.

Same. Went to TJ's bc they never ID'd. Once I could legally drink I went to other places lol

Not as much as before Covid. The going out drinking culture has yet to fully return. More kids staying their dorms smoking or drinking not at bars.

Fred weary was always playing pool at TJs then one time I was at Bruno’s I saw a big ruckus across the street it was a buddy from high school getting in a fight with him spilling out of TJs. Good times. RIP WHITT
