That roundhouse kick after he was in cuffs and on the hood. Officer will get a mark on his record for that last punch, but it was definitely 100% justified.

Ole Baw shouldn’t have been resisting so much. But a punch after being restrained was uncalled for, no matter the race of cop.

He kinda had it coming. Switch the races and the cop would be charged for that one though. As a jury member, I’d vote not guilty...again, the perp had that one coming.

This IMO but regardless, I'm not going to fault the officer in this situation for that.
Anyway, I don't have a problem with the punch. You can see the suspect trying to backward kick at the officer's groin. If you try to kick another man in the nuts you are getting off easy just being punched in return.

Once the cops show up to arrest you two things will happen. You eventually go to jail, or you are dead.
Might as well just take your arrest and not compound charges on yourself and laugh it off a year later.

What are cops supposed to do? Spend all day struggling with the guy to cuff him and put him in the car?
At some point they have to add some sort of negative stimulus to change his behavior.
Taser? Baton? That's a bit much. But a a few punches are effective and much more civilized.

There will be some crybabies complaining about the cop punching a cuffed man. If these cops get disciplined for this, there really is no hope. The alternative is that the cops just stop showing up and this junkie frick harasses the wrong person and get's iced in the parking lot.

I agree with what you’re saying and more than likely the white dude was being a complete piece of shite. Clearly he was resisting arrest. However if the roles were reversed and the perp was a black dude resisting arrest and a white cop hitting him Paul would be all over it. Same with SWB.
