Unfortunately this happens a lot in his day and age. This one was going around Twitter just a few days ago.

I’m sure you’ve seen that meme of the 3 soccer players, I think—Renaldo, Messi, and someone else. Comparing their IG photos to their wives. Same vacation, same day, same spot, all the dudes’ pics were showing their whole family. All the wives were just showing themselves in bikinis. Some could have even been the same pics with the families edited out.
It could have been fake. I’m not on Instagram enough to be able to tell. But there was enough truth to it to at least make people identify the patterns to make relatable and funny enough to turn into a meme.
Apparently, women have to always appear available. Anytime they show a man in pic, that takes away the illusion that they can get her, and her engagements go way down.
Social media—and IG may be the worst of these platforms—has created so much illusion of choice, which quickly morphed into self delusion. I just heard the term 40-9er for the 1st time a couple weeks ago. Made me giggle.
