Since we are apparently allowing this Travel Board question. I will give you the Golden Ticket advice for London first timers. Ignore this and you will regret it.

The Tower of London is bar none one of the coolest things to do in London. But here's the deal. It gets crazy packed. You buy tickets based on entry time with staggered entry windows in which you have to enter the location. Buy the VERY FIRST TICKET FOR THE DAY YOU WANT TO GO. Get your arse out of bed early and get down there. Grab a coffee and a snack and get in line at least an hour prior to open. The second it opens and you get through the ticket line, go DIRECTLY AND WITH HASTE all the way to the back of the Tower to the Crown Jewels exhibit. It is in its own building all the way to the back. Don't stop and read or look at anything. Haul butt straight there. See the Jewels (amazing really). Then you can take your time and see the rest of the exhibits at your leisure as you work your way in reverse back to the front. I have taken multiple people there and done this. You can walk straight in by doing this. By the time you come out, there will be a Disney style line snaking through ropes like a TSA nightmare. The wait is generally an hour or more once the day gets going. So get there first.

The part about chasing the guy down and stabbing him to death doesn't surprise me.

I believe they refer to it as "Sikh and Destroy".

Unfortunately, I have.

The weather sucked, the food sucked and nobody had ever worn braces.

Pretty much and I'm not really joking.

I have sympathy for police arriving on a scene, getting a sob story from the perp and sorting through the chaos. I do. But the UK has pathologically turned to self-loathing and anti-racism that you can't really view it just as that.

There's just no universe in which the roles are reversed and the police are cuffing the Sikh guy bleeding out while the white kid holds a bloody knife. It would never happen. It's not at all exaggeration to say that UK policing prioritizes punishment of racist or other improper thoughts more than preventing or punishing harm to the actual English.

And it's deeply engrained, especially in some parts of the country. You could probably go into a pub in Liverpool or Manchester filled with working class white people who would go into a frenzy if you mentioned migrants were responsible for the spike in rapes in Europe. It is religious-like.

Daily mail is a tabloid.

I would look for another source to confirm exactly what happened

Daily Mail is like the NY Post IMO

They sensationalize but they don't usually invent.

Anyway, from what I see the DM article is drawn from trial testimony and tracks.

I looked up the BBC article

The Muslim is being charged with murder

When the cops first got on the scene they thought the victim was initially drunk and listened to the Muslim and went to cuff the victim. When they noticed the victim was injured, they immediately rendered aid and then actually arrested and brought in the Muslim

I am no more a fan of the spread of Islam than anyone. But this wasn’t a “let’s arrest the stabbed guy because he was mean to a Muslim” like OP portrayed

Here is an equally absurd thing posted by sky news I found. Oh and it's about another stabbing death by diversity.

But the absurd thing is:

No one is allowed a knife in the UK unless you are "diversity". Then it's perfectly legal.
quote:

"Sikhism obliges male followers of the faith to carry and wear certain items, these include a wooden comb, a metal bangle and what is called a kirpan, a ceremonial knife," said Mr Lobbenberg.

"That small kirpan satisfies any religious obligation a Sikh may have to carry a blade, and Mr Vickrum Digwa was carrying that under his clothing and around his neck."

That CAN'T be the right information in that story. I mean... it just CAN'T be.
This story even seems to be a stretch for a Babylon Bee article.

The title might be slightly misleading, but the article is not

Police show up. Guy is critically wounded from a stabbing. The guy who did the stabbing is non-white and whining about racism and assault. So instead of preemptively arresting the guy who did the stabbing, they go cuff the guy who has been stabbed. They then have to remove the cuffs as they try and administer CPR.

You are leaving out the part the police did not know there was a stabbing at first. Kinda a big deal

Once they realized there was actually a stabbing, they rendered aid to the stabbing victim and arrested the damn Muslim piece of shite

Britain and their laws are fricking whack, and allowing Islam in anywhere is a massive mistake. But in this one case instance I don’t really see anything wrong being done
