Everyone has mass immigration fatigue

I don't know why anyone would want to live in the UK.
Weather sucks, food sucks and nobody's ever had braces.

That CAN'T be the right information in that story. I mean... it just CAN'T be.

The difference between being a subject and a citizen

Here come the down votes but I will say it anyway.
Sikh's are not Muslims. They are, generally speaking, really good folks and don't put up with a lot of BS. They are also fantastic soldiers / warriors. The part about chasing the guy down and stabbing him to death doesn't surprise me.
They get especially triggered when idiots think they are Muzzies and start getting in their business.
This may be what the article says. Or it may be something else. This is a case where I would want to know more facts.
ETA: The Sikh knife, known as a Kirpan (Punjabi: ??????), is a sacred article of faith that initiated (Amritdhari) Sikhs are required to wear at all times, symbolizing duty, dignity, and the protection of the innocent. Far more than a weapon, it represents a commitment to justice, humility, and compassion.

I am going to London for the first time a couple of weeks. After London we are going to Paris. I don't travel abroad much. Should I be legitimately, like head on a swivel, vigilant? Or are these just isolated things?
I know not travel board but this is a reply and I would love to hear from baws that have been to London and/or Paris for tips, watch outs, or any good things.

That's fricking sikh and disgusting.

Histrionics aside. London and Paris are just like any other big city in the world. Good parts and bad parts. Stay in the good parts and you are fine. Go to the bad parts and it is legit like being in Baghdad or Kabul. There is a spot on the edge of Paris I went to that made me think I was in a western African street market.
If you look around and you are the only white dude you see, get the frick out.

Mistaking a Sikh for a Muslim shouldn't be worth stabbing anyone over, let alone chasing them down to finish the job.

You should always keep your head on a swivel no matter where you are, but that doesn't mean act paranoid.

You'll get way more rational responses on the travel board.

More knife laws would prevent this. Only sporks should be legal.

In fairness, I do that here. But I get what you're saying for sure.

I agree...and I do. I just don't know about London and Paris obviously.

I guess. I just never go over there and have my comfort zone here with you unhinged animals for rational responses. Haha.

That got a good chuckle out of me.

Fair enough. As long as you can differentiate the comically unhinged from the poli unhinged. The latter shouldn't be trusted for travel advice.

They’ll approach you and start tying string knots around your wrist while telling you it’s a gift then tell you some BS story. Afterwards they’ll start badgering you for money for it. Our Hungarian chaperone said to me you don’t have to buy anything and he got all hostile. He yelled at her to shut up bitch and intimidated me into giving him money. Can only imagine there’s more of them a couple decades later
