American Fork PD will surely look a little different when the dust settles from this.
He shoujd be forced to resign. It’s comical that he believes in transparency but redact all the footage that would uncover their bs lying.

But these hour plus long youtube videos are ridiculous
Agreed. It must be that they get more money for longer content. No reason for them to be so long.

wouldn’t surprise if the CEO has been stealing legos ever since he was a kid, and the thrill of it inspired his profession.
Apparently most of the franchisees are crooks.
Just watched another video where a kid goes to 4 different shops with a box of random legos and a very rare Star Wars Lego worth close to $2000 and they only offer him 20% of the value of his legos, when it’s supposed to be 30-50% per their website. They all tell him the $2000 c3p0 is fake and not worth anything etc.
One of the stores tried to steal it actually. Gave him his box of legos back and left the expensive one on the counter “accidentally” and let them walk out

if that is true and there start being more videos of that kind of thing surfacing along with this other stuff, BAM is toast.

This is the one I was talking about. Pretty interesting, iirc 1 of the 4 stores was somewhat honest and told him how to value them himself

This appeared in my YT feed, now I am invested.
Those cops should be fired and Ben should get paid.

Update video from MGS on his video. Bricks and Minifigs is now threatening him with legal action about communicating with RecklessBen

These guys aren’t missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
Trying to strong arm people or be condescending to people who have stayed out of it is going to bite them in the arse.

And......gag order....maybe?
Posted on 6/9/26 at 8:05 am to LegendInMyMind
There is a temporary restraining order being imposed by the Utah state court until a hearing can take place.
That is at least a short term gag but it runs afoul of current case law on prior restraint such as the Pentagon Papers case of the 70s.

For the legal gurus, serving papers via email is legal?
I mean, he's admitted that he has them, so neither here nor there now, but I always thought you had to be served in person?

Kinda sucks for those of us wanting content, but likely smart for Ben (legally) to press the pause button. As the Brits say, "Truth will out..."

I went to a used Lego spot in the mall one time, looking to sell some of the sets I have. The dude running the store was shiesty asf. He didn't offer good value on any of the sets I wanted to sell. I sold them nothing. Worse attitude than a shady pawn shop.

Ben better get serious about the legal side of this. Even though he "has proof" and is likely in the right, I can't see one thing that has gone his way so far legally and that tells me the law is not on his side. At least yet. I am sure it will be once a lawyer gets involved but to think he's been falsely detained (traffic stop), falsely swatted for stolen merchandise, and had his their car searched for heroin for 3 hours and still nothing has been done to the other side is telling. Yes, it tells me the other side and cops are in this together but it also tells me Ben isn't buttoned up legally like he probably thinks he is.

Yep. He will probably "win" this, but he will learn that there can be a whole lot of suffering between now and getting that win, and the other side will prolong that suffering just out of spite at this point.

There is one man Ben needs to call:

NGL Ben has been a pretty huge retard about this whole thing.
On one hand he got massive exposure over this "scandal", but he did a lot of dumb shite or presented things in a certain way that undermine this case and his cause for very little upside.
The whole "we have no money for lawyers schtick is kinda dumb when you figure this would have taken like 5-10k in legal fees to resolve (and they may have even had a chance to recover such fees as well).
That's not a small sum of money, but when ~100k is on the line, it's really stupid to so play so fast and loose and do things that are high risk/low reward.

I’m not sure why he talked that much in a video about the gag order. He’s too close to the line imo

I'd say it's a toss up vs BAM. However, while not filed yet, he's got a better chance of winning against the AFPD for civil rights violations.
