You have to be pretty disconnected from the truth to actually say this.

quote:

Brian Stelter, CNN's chief media correspondent, claimed Friday that it is "too early to know" if CNN+ "was a success or failure," following the announcement that CNN's streaming service will be shutting down at the end of April.

"It's too early to know if this product or this service was a success or a failure. You've got all the haters today saying this thing was a failure," Stelter tried to reason on-air. "I don't know if we can even ever assess that because it just simply didn't have enough time because of the management's change in direction. And at the end of the day, if you buy ... a giant media company, you get to do whatever you want with it. But it does mean there's a lot of suffering for employees — and frankly, disappointment among subscribers as a result."

That implies there was more than one

To be fair to Brian, it was definitely a success if you worked at McKinsey

This is our media in a nutshell. They maintain the narrative even if it's so far beyond what a reasonable person would believe.

If they are canceling it already, it is a failure.

10K subscribers when the target mark was at least ten times that, if not more, makes it a huge loser. And the content isn’t there to bring new people in.

People may want to go back and watch old episodes of Green Acres or Petticoat Junction on something like Paramount Plus. The number of people going back to watch mid 90s Crossfire episodes is damn near zero.

Not having new content worth a shite nor cheap old content to roll out for easy cheap views means that this is deader than dead.

If Stelter survives this he must possess nude photos of Bernie Shaw or something.

Reason is under attack.

Evidently its white supremacy.

Stelter and his kind either get so used to lying they can’t tell when their lies are ridiculous OR they live in a separate reality and need counseling.

I guess if their plan was to shut it down it was a huge success...not too many companies are successful doing that though

Yep. Can’t wait till him and John Leguizamo get into a huge sissy slap fight over something.
