Well football is played by men. Soccer not so much

I remember high school 2 a days in full pads, 3 hours per practice in 98 degree heat. Water break every 45 minutes. And better not complain, or its run suicides until you puke

The club is a cluster, it’s truly mind blowing. Competition side is a money pit, Maroon league is ruining the recreational league. Instead of fixing any issues they just keep adding more shite.

It wasn't great for a while, but the moment they landed Girls Academy/MLS Next, it was over for everyone else. If you kid isn't on one of those teams, they simply don't care anymore.

I sent this to the coach and laughed at them. The weather was perfect at Burbank today

BREC can’t even grow grass without those little stickers in them and you expect common sense on weather?

Last time my kid played there it was a blood bath and not from the beat down we put on BRSC. It was literally blood all over the kids from those fricking little sticker things.

OP is right. This shite has pissed me off for 10+ years. BRSC needs some changes or people, including myself, need to stop giving them money.

Back in August of 2011, we had soccer practices on numerous days when the temp was 105. I can’t remember how high the heat indexes were. I received many calls from parents complaining about it. Looking back, it was irresponsible for our club to conduct training under those conditions.

You are aware there's a lighting rod at both ends of a real football field?

I’m not advocating practicing during a lightning storm dummy. Use common sense.
BRSC routinely has lightning delays when there is literally nothing around Burbank. The delay from yesterday was literally a lightning strike in Denham Springs. Little summer pop up storm in Denham that didn’t last long and was moving NE anyway, but practice was cancelled at Burbank b/c of a tiny isolated storm in Denham while the weather was just fine at Burbank and not a single crack of thunder was ever heard.

My point was every football team in the area was still practicing b/c they never heard thunder, much less saw lightning……common sense.

Tell those pussy parents if they are scared of the heat then leave their kid inside and miss practice. The rest of us want to practice. Suck it the frick up.

Can you imagine the Karen Goblins shrieking and calling 911 if they saw a tractor spraying the soccer field? The trial lawyers would run ads 24/7 on local media, “Did your child play soccer the morning of _____ you may be entitled to a large cash settlement.” “I’m your herbicide injury lawyer.”

Soccer is filled with pussies? No way! I don’t believe it! Freaking out over non threatening weather is the coach’s way to prepare players to fake injuries. Served you right for signing your kid for a queer “sport”
