Frankly the article doesn't give any information on how he was proven not guilty. So I don't know how you immediately jump to "regret rape".

I can agree that that was not the wisest move but there may have been many reasons to go to the bedroom that did not include sex. Even if it was for sex, if she at any point said NO then NO should have been respected.

I can say that my late fiance and I..... and later my current husband and I lived together and slept in the same bed for weeks/months before we ever had sex. We all understood the meaning of no and we waited until we both thought the time was right.

I read it from multiple sources at another site when this story came out a few weeks back. Some of it may have been referenced in the previous thread here. I will look to see if i can find out where that info all was. It came from different people who reported interacting with him, both male and female.

Believe me, I am not the type of girl who simply believes all women who scream rape. I tend to do a bit of research and look into it because I have NO respect for a ho who likes to falsely scream rape and ruin an innocent mans life.

Colette C- Y'all don't understand... I actually know this guy and he's mentally unstable, this was all his doing and I'm honestly not shocked that he would force himself on a woman. I'm very happy that he's locked up now and can't hurt anyone else.

I was a freshmen with this guy at LSU and lived in the building next to him. He was well known for being an enormous douchebag. He hit a female friend of mine after her telling him she had a boyfriend, and was also arrested at one point for (I believe) threatening to kill his ex girlfriend after she broke up with him. They found a knife in his dorm. Enjoy prison, Jake.

I knew him as well. He pursued me a few times but I got a bad vibe from him. However, that didn't stop him from commenting on everything I posted on facebook and being a total a-hole. Once he told me that I deserved to be sexually harassed because that's what I should expect when I go to bars, and if I didn't want to be sexually harassed I should do things like join a gym instead....He was definitely mentally unstable.

I had class with Jake a couple semesters back. He was okay I guess, but always came off very oddly. Like hyper aggressive about things. I then saw him at Halloween party where he tried to get my overly drunk friend to sleep with him. He was INCREDIBLY aggressive when we tried to bring her back home.

He messaged me the morning this happened. I never responded. I feel sick to my stomach knowing he messaged me around the same time he raped a girl.

Additionally, you fail to understand that a not guilty verdict doesn't mean someone was innocent. Do you put the same vitriol into your defense of OJ Simpson? You seem absent in the OJ thread on this board. He too was "exonerated", right?
