Because I find it particularly despicable for a person to try to ruin another person's life when that person bears some if not most of the responsibility for the situation at hand. And yes her name should be plastered everywhere so she can't do it to anybody else.

the accusers name should now be made public
The media usually will not publish the name of the victim of a sex crime. But they will release the name of the accused.
In this case, the accused is the real victim.
So, why not have the media hold any names until a conviction?
No one knows who is the true victim until after a trial.....

On Saturday, July 26, 2014, a woman called police to report that she had been raped by a man named Jake that she met on Tinder.
I wonder if he works for State Farm.

i hope i never comes out.... having her name out there wouldn't do anything for anyone.... that whole scarlet letter mentality is absurd...
from my angle, knowing what i know, i think it started out consensual and then at some point it wasn't.... whether she made up her mind beforehand and didn't convey that to him, so he was thrown off when she didn't want to have sex (more like one of those "everything but" situations), or whether she had a moment of conscience about the boyfriend that she had, i dunno.... with all the questions and amount of sketch associated with this whole situation, i do still believe she was forcibly raped.....
but proving forcible rape beyond a reasonable doubt, especially when you invited that accused rapist over voluntarily to your residence, is damn near impossible.... they had a hard row to hoe from jump, and with this case, there was just too many things that would give pause about the claim, with is why he got acquitted....

How do you figure? Better yet, how do you know for sure? I'm all for withholding the names of both the accused and the accuser, but this idea that a not guilty verdict means the woman is a lying whore is absurd.
People get out of crimes all the time, the burden of proof is on the prosecution. They weren't able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this guy raped her, so he is not guilty. However, in no way does that mean this woman was a liar and trying to ruin this guys life. That has been my point this entire thread - no need to bash the potential victim because the verdict wasn't in her favor just as there is no need to label this guy a racist just because he was accused.

Lots of those accounts appear to be unreliable. You have to understand that when people are charged with a sick crime like rape or child molestation, people tend to revise their history with that person in a way that highlights or exacerbates flaws that would tend to confirm such behavior.

People remember what people want to remember. There are tons of studies showing individuals remembering stuff different given "clues".
