Nashville had this problem a few years back. Police and highway patrol got together and put a stop to it. They used undercovers along with helicopters. They'd get word of where they would be planning to set up, block off the exits, and anyone who got away was chased down by the helicopter. Lots of arrests and lots of cars impounded. The big meetups stopped with the quickness. Every once in a while they'll fire back up, but law enforcement will quickly drop the hammer.

I can’t help but wonder if the ridiculous jurisdictional boundaries around the Siegen/Bluebonnet area are part of the problem.

If someone is caught doing this their car should be confiscated and lose their license for at least 1 year

All we need is a hotline to report it when we see and hear it, but most of all, we need them to actually respond.

In other words they cared about people flagrantly breaking the law.

We don't have that here.

We normally don't wither, but they took care of this one thing at least.

Fit helicopters with fire-fighting equipment, drop shite-tons of cold swamp water on them to make them disperse..

Rinse, repeat.

And so then you curb stomp that riot.

"They" don't riot. "They" "peacefully protest" no matter how many people are injured or killed or how much property is damaged or destroyed.

Surprised nobody has posted this from the WBRZ article.

quote:

Chaos around the city didn't end with blocked roadways and a heap of traffic along the interstate. A witness near the Race Trac gas station said he watched the moments car stunt drivers destroyed what he calls home.

......

quote:

The drivers knocked over his tent and other items in his encampment. He said he was happy he wasn't in it at the time.

What needs to happen is to do away with all the local police depts in EBRP.
Just have a metro sheriff elected by the people.
This will have less duplication of office staff and more officers on the street.

This is what needs to happen. It won't happen, though, because Broome (and whoever replaces her) cannot control the Sheriff.

There was a retarded chick all in the WBRZ comment section telling everyone the name of the group & when they get together to do this. Apparently there’s tons of people coming from out of state soon to participate in the coming weeks.
