In November of 2018, officials with Main Event confirmed it filed a permit for an expansion of the former H.H. Gregg store at the Mall of Louisiana as it pushed forward with plans to open a family entertainment center.

The new 50,000-square-foot facility will boast 22 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, laser tag, gravity ropes and zip line, billiards, shuffleboard and a games gallery featuring more than 130 of the latest interactive games and virtual reality games.

Extraordinary! I wonder if I could persuade them to include a jai alai facility.

Expect more gunplay. That place will be the Wild West in no time with the clientele.

I thought this already happened

Since BR annexed some of the Mall in the great St George battle of 2016, who’s police jurisdiction does this fall into? Because whomever it is will be pretty busy.

This is just what was needed to put the Mall of LA out of it's misery

Main Event doesn’t charge an entry fee so you can hangout and loiter for hours with friends and pay nothing.
Grand opening.
Grand closing.
Grand opening.
Grand closing.

Laser tag might get deadly when North BR shows up.

What?
Well, RIP Main Event BR.

Yeah that is not a sustainable strategy with the amount of culcha that’s in the area.

Went to Red Robin last night and looks like it will be open soon.
I been to them on corporate functions when my vendors have dealer events. Most of the events we had the place was dead except for our group. It’s ok. I think once the new wears off it barely make money.
Top Golf seems to be where it is at.
Nicer place and every vender event I been to no matter what city they are packed.
No matter where you go to one they always seem to be packed.

Top Golf AND Main Event?
NOLA and Laffy people must be furious.

I've seen this notion on this board a few times, but if Lafayette is considered a "rival" city of Baton Rouge, BR is lagging more so than people on here understand.
I'm not originally from Louisiana so I really don't have firm grasp of any historical significance of Lafayette, but when I'm driving thru Baton Rouge on the interstate, it is obvious that I'm driving thru a reasonably large urban area, whereas, and this is a true story; my first trip to Lafayette I had to ask the clerk working at the gas station off the interstate in which direction is the city.
You actually see more evidence of an urban area driving thru Gonzales and Denham Springs.
I've never really got the comparisons between the two towns.

I mean if you were on I 10 the main part of Lafayette is quite a bit south of the interstate. If you were on 90 than you just weren’t patient enough. I’m not gonna argue that Lafayette is even remotely close to the same plain as BR/NOLA because that’s just absurd but it’s fairly easy to tell where the city of Lafayette is if you’re on the right road.

NBR is going to wreck this shite.
