People saying St. Josephs and CH are not part of the Diocese, might want to look at the list of schools in the BR Diocese. LINK

Forget that. I know of three different people who was called today about Facebook posts calling their school out and being told of they do not take the post down, their kids will be kicked out of school. Because they voiced their different opinion on Facebook. The two Baton Rouge schools doesn't surprise me, but the Hammond school calling shocked the heck out of me reading it.

They might not have a choice in the matter, but they do get to choose to go after the parents who are voicing their frustrations on Facebook. Once you threaten taking kids out of school because the parents are mad, you are just as much in the wrong.

And to the people that say the principals are getting together… that is false, there has been no discussion as a group of coming together to fight this, or meet. Zero.
Well if that is true, then frick this:

Please do not call or email the schools. They do not want this, they did not ask for this, and they don’t want to manage this.
Bombard the frick out of them if they are doing nothing to support the people who pay tuition to their school, and you can tell the admin you are sleeping with that

It is absolutely racist, in the sense that the government chooses vulnerable people on which to try out experimental treatments.

[The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male was an observational study on African-American males in Tuskegee, Alabama between 1932 and 1972. The U. S. Public Health Service ran this study on more than 300 people without notifying the participants about their disease nor treating them even after the introduction of penicillin. The study included recording the progress of disease and performing an autopsy on the deaths.]

Far to many "Karen" lay ministers involved.

They are separate entities and operate on their own.

If they fell under the BR diocese their dance team and cheer team would have NEVER gone to dance and cheer nationals in Orlando. Our girls (at SMHS) weren't allowed to go because the Diocese said so.

Wait, what? If that's true, that is a news story waiting to explode. Please elaborate.

Then they need to quit referring themselves as the leadership of the school. They are NOT leaders if this is the case. They are simply administrators of an email distribution list if all they do is relay info from above.

This is the EXACT reason why parents need to keep calling and emailing the schools. They need to keep getting pushback from the parents until they actually do what they are paid to do.... you know,,, lead and represent the families that pay their salaries.

Your thoughts on this are COMPLETELY backwards.

How is that? Parents get to choose where they spend their money. How can the school get pissed that the parents are voicing their frustration?

Don’t envy you parents. I lucked out with my youngest graduating from a local catholic school last year, so I don’t have to deal with the fall out of this.

Very good point and very well stated. You are 1000% correct and that the diocese will not feel any of this when people start homeschooling their kids and pulling them out of these budget driven Catholic schools. That’s where the problem will be.

Three different friends had three different admins/people from 3 different schools say if they don't delete their post badmouthing the school and it's policy, they would remove their child. Well, one of them said they would have to schedule a meeting with parents about their child's place on the school. Some, if not all, of the schools apparently have social media forms where you agree not to do anything to damage or hurt the schools image. At least I take it that's the angle they are using here. If I find out more details I will post it.

Phone calls, social media posts and public rallies outside the Catholic schools’ office will force the Diocese to respond. Get local media and personal injury lawyers to call the diocese as well! The template below is outstanding for advocacy.

[We want you to be armed with resources to advocate for yourself and your loved ones. Here are letter templates related to mask mandates at schools and at work. Please edit the portion in red, specific to you, and distribute. Send to principals, superintendents, department of education officials, managers, board of directors, etc. Put them on notice! Send on your own or unite with others’ signatures in support of your movement. Informed and united people are truly the greatest threat to tyranny!]

Speedy is your kid in college? We’re having to deal with it — vaccinate and show proof or wear a mask.

Most students have to sign a social media clause. I've never heard of parent having to.
