Sororities including men - who should have the ultimate say?
Posted by LookAtTheData on 3/29/23 at 3:24 pm
[Langford’s membership was made possible by language within a recent guidance issued by sorority leaders on inclusivity. The national KKG Guide For Supporting Our LGBTQIA+ Members (2021) states that “Kappa Kappa Gamma is a single-gender organization comprised of women and individuals who identify as women whose governing documents do not discriminate in membership selection except by requiring good scholarship and ethical character.”]
[The source further stated that women who opposed Langford’s admission into the sorority were told they could “drop out” following objections made by ten women, who, as new pledges, were among a group of women who had spent the night together with Langford as part of the sorority’s initiation process.]

These men in a San Francisco library are acting as citizen journalists, protecting children from a drag queen whose online rap videos describe what he really wants to do to little children. Notice how the NBC segment says nothing about the drag queen’s rap video!
Are Baton Rouge men too weak to do the same, when drag queens with concerning public profiles come to publicly funded spaces to “entertain” children?
The enduring question - “Who brought the pedophile?”

These “family” drag shows happening around the country, even in small conservative towns, are all orchestrated by meticulous design by those who profit off gender dysphoria and sexual liberation. Communists know family destabilization is critical to their retention of power, and nothing quite destabilizes like turning a son against his father or daughter against her mother. Parents of Catholic school students:
Please keep up the momentum to ensure your children are receiving a truly Catholic education! Many Catholic schools use Common Core compliant textbooks for history and literature that do not reflect the Catholic worldview. Ask your principals who chooses your school’s textbooks and how they evaluate the texts in relation to Catholic standards.
For guidance in advocating at your child’s school, please bookmark the website of the Cardinal Newman Society.

From one of their brilliant articles:
[Today America continues to struggle with the consequences of the terrible sin of slavery and the injustice of racism. With confidence in Christ, Catholic education teaches God’s will for humanity and helps students rise above hatred and injustice. But critical race theory promotes a false political ideology that aims to divide rather than heal American society.
The following are 10 ways Catholic education and critical race theory are simply incompatible, summarized from the Newman Society’s Principles of Catholic Identity, Catholic Curriculum Standards and “Background on Critical Race Theory and Critical Theory for Catholic Educators” by Dr. Denise Donohue.]

Many times parents feel intimidated from asking questions about schools’ curriculum. They think their children will be penalized. If you were though to send to your children’s teachers links to articles from Cardinal Newman Society, with non-judgmental subject lines like, “An interesting perspective on Catholic education,” you might open their minds to a resource of which they were not aware!
We all know that the public schools are havens for teachers and staff who either don’t agree with Catholic teaching on family, or who cannot reference Catholic teaching as moral guidance. The way anti-family communists reach children in Catholic schools then, is through their Common Core approved textbooks.
If you find that your school is using Common Core texts, especially for literature, take the time to read through the texts. Google the stories presented, check out the authors, and consider the themes the publishers want discussed.

As Catholic adults, we come in contact with non-Catholic worldviews daily, but children are not equipped to be bombarded by influencers who don’t reflect Catholic values. You choose as a parent the media your child consumes at home - help your child’s school choose literature presented and available, in classrooms and the libraries, that reflects the Catholic worldview!

There is certainly societal value in families raising Christian children who will grow up to be law-abiding citizens, hard workers, faithful spouses and responsible parents.

Wise older Catholics I know have observed:
Between removing worship of God from public schools, and Catholic dioceses in the 60s moving away from scholarships to Catholic schools and toward government funded secular outreach, what has become of Catholic education and community support for nuclear families in general?
How many issues for which the Catholic Church gets taxpayer funds (serving the addicted, imprisoned, low-income, single-parent families) would have been prevented, had those people been formed in Catholic schools? Yet diocese after diocese across the world has closed inner city schools due to “lack of funds”, while the communities around them fall apart and the students have no where to go, but public schools where morality consists of “consensual pleasure.”
Thanks abortion advocates - you clearly demonstrated that legalizing abortion resulted in your promises that every child would be wanted, and none would live in poverty. As long as we are all “tolerant” and “non-judgmental”, the children will all turn out just fine! Just ignore the skyrocketing depression, addiction and suicide rates for teens. Progressives know best!

Google John Zmirak, Catholic writer for The Stream, who happens to have a PhD from LSU.
[More Immigrants, More Taxpayer Cash
What do the bishops get in return? If Biden suspends, as promised, all enforcement at our borders, quite a bit. Already, the bishops reap 40 percent of their annual budget from federal non-profit contracts, most of them serving immigrants (legal or not). If our nation is flooded with a new wave of illegals after January, that percentage might shoot up higher.]

A researcher with Internet access.
But if Catholics really want to become completely aware of how the Catholic Church has been infiltrated, check out the Culture Wars podcast on ITunes. And all - please keep in mind - anti-family communists can self-affiliate with any religious group! The question becomes - how should leadership of that group respond to the communists among them?
One insightful example:

Yes. And because the Marshalls are independent of their diocesan Catholic schools in the Dallas area, they can research and speak freely about problems within the US diocesan schools as well as problems within the Church in general. Some Catholics resent Dr. Marshall for speaking freely about problems in the Church, but as we all know, intimidating vulnerable people into silence, has only backfired for the hierarchy.

A wise parent has asked:
What do the guidance counselors/social workers think about mandatory masking, distancing, separation, preferential treatment for the vaxxed, etc.? Is no one speaking out? Surely they have to be well aware of the social and emotional effects all this has on children.

Exactly! And how many parents want to be stigmatized themselves by having to wear masks when they come to volunteer?
Update: I guess schools won’t be inviting parents to come volunteer this year, unless “legally required by law”! From the letter:
[Visitors to Campus: Non-essential visitors (i.e., volunteers, external groups, organizations, etc.) are not allowed to visit campus unless required by law or by contract for services. All visitors are required to wear masks and maintain 6-feet physical distancing from others.]

Catholics on TD - please consider following Dr. Taylor Marshall on Twitter @taylorrmarshall as well as listening to his podcasts on YouTube or ITunes. He runs the new St. Thomas Institute, is married to a homeschooling mother, and they have 8 children. He wrote the book Infiltration about the Communist infiltration of the Catholic hierarchy.
He will fearlessly tell you truths about the Catholic Church you will never hear from the Bishops!
If we had a significant group of people in BR listening to him, we would have tremendous leverage to change the schools and even norms in the larger BR community!

40% of bishops’ budgets come from the federal government from taxpayers, for immigration, prison ministry, etc. They are more loyal to Biden and the “Catholic” Democrats who cherish abortion rights, than they are to the local families who have entrusted them with the daily care and education of their precious children.

We need to know:
What percentage of teachers agreed to teach this year, only if the policy set forth by the Diocese was enforced? If so, how long have those teachers known about the planned policy, while parents and children were kept in the dark?
Are there any teachers who disagree with Diocesan policy? A stealth teacher could send out a teacher survey and collect data of teachers who don’t want masks or vaccine mandates. If a significant number of teachers, and parents and students, don’t want masks or mandates, why not organize into new school groups? A student doesn’t have to attend a Catholic school to play a sport - parents at Catholic schools organized sports leagues outside the schools last fall and spring.
When educational groups have educated, committed and energetic leaders who are also parents, the force for change is unstoppable!

I think the Diocese, in an effort to demonstrate transparency, should survey all their employees to find which ones want the vaccine but haven’t been able to get it. Then, in charity, they should help those employees get the vaccine. Then, in charity, they should put their faith in science and back off their paranoia that is driving them to compromise children’s health to suit their anxieties,
Does the Diocese offer mental health counseling for employees who are truly terrified of COVID 19 and the children they think may transmit it to them, even though they are vaccinated?
