Boy Scout troop trailer stolen

Our Boy Scout troop camping trailer was stolen from the church in Central where we meet and store it. That’s right, some POS stole from a bunch of kids at a church. I’m attaching a go fund me link if you can help it would be greatly appreciated. I know this is the OT so I fully expect and welcome the scoutmaster jokes. LINK

Doesn't insurance cover it? It's very unfortunate and sucks this happened but why is the first thought in today's world to beg online without even so much as a coffee can?

Thank you for being a Scout leader, despite the jokes and whatnot we still need Boy Scouts in this world, for the amazing and time-honored values it teaches. Letting gays or girls in doesn't change that, in fact, it's great they they are learning those skills as well.

Bot Scouts need to teach lessons on how to lock trailers up sufficiently. I believe this is the 3rd time in the last 5 years that this has happened

To this troop? In the BR area? In the country?
Most people probably believe someone isn't going to drive a truck into a church parking lot, hook up a trailer, and drive away with it.
Locking trailers up means, I would think, putting it at someone's house behind a gate, or in a garage, or paying for a storage area. No one wants that at their house, and no one wants to pay for storage.
It sucks, but I'm sure going forward, that's what this troop will have to do.
