You can help out families like this 7-year old's by donating to the domestic violence shelter/support group that's assisting them.

If we are questioning the authenticity of this letter, I’d like to point out that the left side of the paper and the actual ink on the paper look completely fake.. looks like it was computer generated or something like that

I saw this on fbook earlier and that was my first thought before I even read any of it

Why did he put a period after his name?

Well whatever adult wrote the letter obviously thought it would make it look more authentic.

Also, does a 7 yr old actually know the difference between ‘to’ & ‘too’? About 40% of this board doesn’t know the difference.

i have never seen a hand written page with the ink the exact same throughout every letter. You will have differences in tone throughout from just pen pressure. This is a digitally generated letter.

I hate to be this way, but I always question these things when I first read the story. Sometimes I feel like a shitty person, but it just happens automatic.

Except for all the times before that you’ve jumped to conclusions and been completely wrong just because it fit your agenda you piece of shite.

Makes me sick.
Especially the part he wrote he’s nervous.

Little kids should t have to worry about things we as adults do.

I’m a father of two and if there’s one other thing I could magically be or do would be to save kids from any sort of abuse.
Literally makes me sick to my stomach

It’s fake. Kid can’t spell “watch” but knows the difference in use of “to” and “too”. Most people on the droppings aren’t even that smart

Look something is strange with this letter. Aside from the digital look argument. The ability for a 7 year old to roll out the words nervous and dictionary without a hitch is interesting. So ok, let’s say we give him that as maybe he is great at spelling. What I find interesting is the use of the comma before the word “and” in the final paragraph. This is one of the more difficult grammatical rules to be follow. I will leave it all as very interesting.

If story is true....very sad indeed. If story is fake...very sad indeed as well.
