Blake's mom still gladly spread her legs because she somehow justified his antics in some weird female way.
She's every bit the victim as much as the boy is.
That's how abusers work. They get their victims to justify their abusive behavior by pouring a whole lot of sugar and sweet things and then pounding the frick out of them once they are sure they have complete control over them.
Manipulative physiological control is quite a beast to fight and it takes quite a while for victims to fully free themselves from their abuser's grasp.

How an actual dad could hurt (and I mean really hurt them, not talking about a spank here) his young kids baffles me.

That is very true.

Can somebody get Joe Burrow to marry his mom?
Joe Burrow needs to focus on breeding his own stable of sons to send to LSU in the next couple decades

I want more details on this. I'm skeptical that this isn't total horseshite.

Thank God -
I was getting ready to call the shelter. Man, does that open some old wounds.
My dad when I was 3 threw our tree and my mom through the front window of our house. They were divorced but he had flipped out over something. I hadn't thought about that night in years. Damn, my day is wrecked.

Welp, that’s depressing. I’ll be looking forward to giving my kids a hug when I get home.

Except now they just let Blake's dad know where they are.
This organization has several homes where they place women and children. The address of each is very closely guarded. I volunteered for a similar organization for years before I was given the address of just one of their homes and that was under special circumstances.

Doesn't sound so bad. Uncle Phil did it to Jazz every week.
