Man. That hits close.

11 y/o...2am and my father loading a shotgun threatening to blow his head off in front of us. Mom and I got out and drove up the boulevard to intercept my 17 y/o sister on a date so we could run to a hidden local hotel.

I was lucky. I had a loving mother.

This happened often.

I wouldn't mind a back alley chat with "Dad".

I had some rough moments along those lines, also. Fake or not, that story brought some bad memories back I had tried to long forget.

guarantee you Blake's dad showed every red flag in the book indicating his propensity to be a piece of shite and Blake's mom still gladly spread her legs because she somehow justified his antics in some weird female way.

sounds like something Blake's dad would say.

Dear Blake
Can you post some pics of your Momma?
That could help with the very, very good dad part.

What did Blake's dad do, exactly? Got mad and didn't do any chores?

Heart wrenching

Im legit soft hearted for kids. Particularly in today's society. They don't deserve the dysfunction their parents threw them into.
