No tangent. Seems relevant to tell you that you posted a year old poll

And there’s no need to avoid addressing it.

I can see how the wording is confusing, but if 39% approve that’s another way of saying 39% think he’s doing good or excellent.

49% say he’s doing poorly

The crosstabs are behind a paywall but it’s easy to see how they got these numbers when factoring in a fourth “below average” option. Feel free to sign up for the Rasmussen platinum and we will hash it out, but I ain’t giving those jokers a dime

And it’s not “leftists” - there are plenty of polling sites reporting it. They’ve tagged Rasmussen, so if it’s a blatant lie I imagine we’ll know it soon. Haven’t heard a peep yet.

That's you completely missing the point. The weapon is known for uncommanded discharges

Wait a second pal

You said this

quote:

that Pretti didn't discharge the weapon himself

So in this little fantasy you’ve cooked up, was it uncommanded? Or did he discharge it himself?

You are stumbling on the weight of your own mental gymnastics

the timing of events you must imagine yourself nearly prescient with how you think you'd behave in such a situation.

I’m not a federal agent, but it would take a lot more than a fictional drawing of a weapon to shoot a man on his knees in the back of the head

You truly are pathetic. Willfully ignorant, uneducated, moronic, and probably a huge disappointment to the miserable cretins that raised you too.

What an emotional outburst. I can’t believe I thought you were composed and intelligent before this incident.

Once again the officer panicked and shot a guy for no real reason.

I’m usually on the side of LE but both the recent shootings were unnessary, IMHO.

finally, someone with the balls to go against the grain and call this a frick up, without having to resort to victim blaming, mental gymnastics, childish insults, conspiracy theory, long winded rambling rants, etc...

This is going to be the interesting thing moving forward. It seems BP is the one who keeps fricking up and getting the bad PR

The court of public opinion, and the impact of that on our democracy, won't require a conviction.

Claiming he didn’t show up there specifically to murder doesn’t mean he didn’t break any laws in regards to federal officers enforcing federal immigration laws including before videos while blocking legal traffic, resist arrest, do these while having a gun without an ID per local law requirement (possibly ignored by the local police), and justifiably put some officers in fear of their lives.

It also doesn’t mean he was not part of a domestic terrorist group being funded by a communist American living in China.

You're going to find that only the most hardcore people in the echo chamber value these talking points.

You must have severe reading comprehension problems, only explanation to how stupid you must be here. Go back and read everything again, do not mouth the words and maybe get an adult to help you out.

You're too stupid to be a Federal agent, let's just get that out of the way first. Second, if you weren't so poor at reading, you would see that the issue it that the WEAPON went off as it was being removed because that is a known issue with that line of Sig pistols. That is what I stated as a hypothetical in at least two other posts too.

Still the brainless, intellectually stunted turd that can't get anything in this thread right.

Maybe it's all the threats they've gotten, violent protestors, and coordinated stalkers and obstructors. And the fact that the guy was carrying a gun to a "peaceful" protest.

Cant imagine why they're on edge.

except that's not what the video shows, at all... the weapon is clearly retrieved, and shuttled away, before shots are heard... so there goes that theory... but wait, you said you watched the video multiple times... how'd you miss that?

It also doesn’t mean he was not part of a domestic terrorist group being funded by a communist American living in China. Even claiming a possible bad shooting doesn’t come close to what the left and Dems are claiming. Investigation will take place, but enforcing immigration laws must continue as well as dealing with the corruption and insurrection within the state and local govt in Minnesota.

Ultimately, I think his poor choices entering the pressure cooker led to terrible outcomes.

I’d advise friends not to go solo, and carry etc…

I do think the agents came in hot. Which given their lives, I’d be shocked if it never happens. We are asking too much of most and not sufficiently holding those accountable that are truly interfering.

Im not sure the first shots origin and I think that’ll go a long way for shitty situation vs bad shoot

I think the race to paint him as a terrorist was an unforced error from leadership that are supposed to take a deep breathe and represent everyone including the guy on the ground.

I think the race to paint all immigration enforcement as nazism is also terrible

I agree. Plus in the first killing the dude shot once through the windshield then twice as the car passed through the open window which was probably the kill shot which was completely unnecessary because the danger had passed by him. He wanted to finish the woman off.

The second killing the victim was filming away from the dudes and went to help a woman who was thrown to the ground. They were pepper sprayed and he was snatched up and thrown to the ground, beaten in the head with a pepper spray can, disarmed of his legally carried weapon and shot 10 times for good measure. Why did they feel the need to empty their weapons on an unarmed defenseless dead man?

Those dudes have no business carrying lethal weapons of any kind and they’ve proven that.

1, not illegal, 2, even Bonvino said that's fine and claimed he's done it multiple time himself...

Weapon was retrieved, some says "gun", there's a shot followed by several more. No video shows exactly where the first shot occurs.

no, i try to keep the discussion on topic, vs. hurling insults at everyone, like a child... i can't speak for others here, but i keep serious discussions on topic to the best of my ability and try to be respectful of opposing view points, no matter how stupid or misguided i find them to be... i know i hadn't insulted or demeaned you, so i do expect that same treatment, when discussing a topic

they absolutely do... there is even a slowed down version making the rounds that CLEARLY shows the guy disarmed, firearm in the possession of the agent, and then the shots begin... there is NO POSSIBLE way is was an accidental discharge of Pretti's firearm...
