The post I was responding to had this context. The officer was on edge because of everything I said in my post. Read before you piss yourself trying to defend the deceased guy.

Once again the officer panicked and shot a guy for no real reason.

No I see what you mean now. Your initial point was poorly written but I got it figured out.

It is fricking hysterical that you think an officer accidentally discharging the weapon he retrieved from the guy on his all fours is justification for shooting him in the back of the brain

There’s really no reasoning with cuckoldry as aggressive as that.

You’re responsible for every round that leaves your weapon, and that includes weapons you snatch out of holsters and waistbands. There’s no “whoopsie, I thought the guy we were prison jumping fired it but it was my buddy” defense.

there's a shot followed by several more

10 in total... which begs the question... at what point is the shooting excessive, given that the guy is already face down?

Do we need to review your posts to quote your own insults and habit of putting words in the mouths of others? Don't try claiming a moral high ground here kid, you don't have it.

i don't know the dead guy... from all accounts, seemed like a good dude... what does concern me is that a governmet agency disarmed an American citizen, and THEN shot him dead.. realistically, that should concern EVERY American... but it doesn't b/c some view this as their team "winning"... and it's sad...

so he should face, at least, manslaughter charges, correct?

Doesn't beg that question at all. The standard is until the threat is neutralized so if you have data on a precise number of rounds that is then you could become a millionaire providing that data to law enforcement agencies and the FBI.

i'm not claiming moral high ground... far from it, chief

The Supreme Court says otherwise. A shot was fired from the treasonous person’s weapon. The officers had reason to believe their lives were in danger. Precedence was set years ago. Research it. Interfere with LEOs doing their legal jobs and find out.

I mean this is grossly oversimplifying what happened and you know it. He wasn't stripped of his firearm and put against the wall and executed for resisting arrest, no matter what politicians and media are telling you.

The victim had a big mean gun on him.

He should have been shot.

You're still a fricking dishonest piece of trash that can't help but put words in the mouths of others. I never stated such a justification, and I know you are too much of a sniveling little cretin to try quoting me too.

Except when dealing with a gun that has a known issue with discharging itself.

i have eyes... i can, like a majority of people who have seen the video, CLEARLY see what happened... this isn't a left vs. right, Dem vs. Reb issue... this is a right vs. wrong issue, and in this case, the LEOs got it wrong...

and you a grossly understating how big an issue this should be... but then again, you are known for bad takes on every board you are on, so i'm not terribly surprised, if we are being honest

I'm fairly certain he's a loon who's never even handled a firearm before. They always out themselves by calling magazines "clips".

This is a position that they are not willing to accept. The LEO dropped the ball on this and people will die oj a hill instead of admitting some LEO, they have no connection to, fricked up.

In their eyes LEO'S are 100% infallible

I just have the available facts and personal experience. I actually CCW and you very obviously don't nor do you appear to have any firearms training whatsoever. If that's "false bravado" to you then that's more of a you problem than anything else...

Tell me exactly what happened since you know with 100% certainty.

This issue doesn't affect my life, your life, or anyone outside of this guy's family's life. If you're so upset, fly your arse to Minneapolis and go blow whistles and build dumpster forts with your friends.

initially, i will... i tend to try to get the conversation back on track after a first, maybe even second unwarranted insult from another poster... but we all have our point of no return, and at that point, yes, i will fight fire with fire...

now, on other boards, where we aren't discussing serious topics, i'm likely to be a little more loose with insults or whatever, but when it's a more pertinent topic, no... i really just want discourse and voicing of various opinions, as it allows me to try to understand other points of view... a guy hurling insult after insult does do anything as far as helping me understand the other side of an issue, and if it's made personal, i'll get in the mud with you, if i feel i need to...
