The incumbent Mayor was a conservative 1/2 black 1/2white. The 23 y.o. is 1/4 vietnamese 3/4 black. The incumbent Coun. At Large who is white threw his hat in the ring for mayor in all likely hood to split the conservative vote. After the election he was introduced as one of the Mayor's adviser's and then he wasn't. He ran with the slogan I have a plan but could not explain the plan.

I texted a buddy that is from there that lives in Madisonville now and apparently this kid is wanting to take seats out of the courtroom in city hall so he can have tea parties and he’s planning his 2nd formal ball to himself since he’s been elected. Who throws a ball for themselves? Something tells me on top of having a certain racial agenda this kid has a little sugar in his gas tank if you know what I mean. Only a gay man would throw tea parties and balls dedicated to them.

Agreed that the Statue of Liberty is not something that should ever grace a government building

Town use to be a little millworker town.
Now a good majority of it looks like it going down.
This young mayor could try to turn it around.
Instead he just stiring the pot.

It's been going down since the 80's. Corporate raiders, unions, corruption, etc. Wendy was a good mayor, got replaced by this fool.
Punk better watch out, though. The Genco family is connected, if you know what I mean.
