Yeps. those parking lots are good duckoffs for someone who may have started ODing in a car and someone pushed them out and took off.

I wasn't even thinking of that, I assumed it was someone in a vehicle because the OP said found in truck. The article doesn't mention anything about a truck so now I'm confused

WAFB article mentions the truck

quote:

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man’s body was found inside a truck in the parking lot of Louisiana Spine & Sports Medicine on Bluebonnet Boulevard in Baton Rouge Thursday morning (Dec. 12).
Investigators believe the body had been there for several days.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
A spokesperson for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Not unless he was shot/stabbed and I would hope that deputies would know what a gunshot victim looks like.

We know that BRPD doesn't.

Are you sure about him being in Dr. Barrow’s office? I thought Dr Barrow was no longer licensed to practice and also think he may be in jail.

“In another case involving Louisiana Spine & Sports, on Nov. 20, 2018, Gray Wesley Barrow, M.D., a co-owner of the company, pleaded guilty for his role in a scheme to receive approximately $336,000 in illegal health care kickback payments. Barrow is scheduled to be sentenced on June 7, 2019, by U.S. District Judge Brian A. Jackson of the Middle District of Louisiana.”

But the article states the body appeared to have been there for several days.
